I reserved a room at the Tundra Lodge in Green Bay online through Expedia. It was guaranteed by my credit card, and I received a confirmation number from the lodge. A week later they called to say they'd overbooked and wouldn't honor my reservation.
My reservation is/was for a Monday night in November when the Packers are playing the Vikings on Monday Night Football.
It is common practice by hotels in Green Bay to inflate prices and require a minimum 2 night stay when the Packers are playing.
I reserved a room through Expedia for 1 night. The hotel is breaching it's contract with me so that it can get 2 nights booking at it's inflated rate from someone else.
