Ramada Plaza Resorts
Supervisor was very rude and pushy, he was trying to abuse the fact that i was a younger college student with my parent's credit card

I recieved a voucher in the mail for a free Ramada resort stay and cruise to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the Bahamas, Orlanda, Las Vegas and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. As i proceeded to call the toll-free number and find out what it was all about, i was on the phone with a nice young women that gave me all the details. After about 20 minutes i had a few questions about the trip. The most important being if i could talk to my parents first and get back to them (as any 20 year old college student using their parents money would do)!!

She asked me to wait while she got her supervisor to talk with me. From the beginning he was very pushy and RUDE. I asked him if i could get back to him after i consulted with my parents and he questioned the fact or whether or not i read the voucher and asked, "what i didn't understand about ONE phone call!" He then tried to persuade me to use my parents credit card without their permission. This is when i started to realize that this was a scam.

He continued with the persistance and when i told him my parents where at work and that i could call them later, he very sarcastic and asked my if there jobs were too important for their daughter and wanted to know what they did for a living, which is totally irrelevent. Since i wouldnt budge, he told me he could give me a student discount and take 200 dollars of the first two tickets bringing the total price of the vacation to $498. So i called my dad at work and he agreed with me that it was a scam and when i politely declined the offer, the man rudely snapped at me as to why i would give up a free trip.

I was honest with him and told him that i didn't think this was ligit. He replied quite incondsiderately saying "this is the Ramada, haven't you heard of the Ramada? We sent that first class mail!" After that I replied that he had been very rude and pushy and maybe if he wasn't such an asshole we would have responded differently.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this trip is a scam and from now on i will not ever stay in a Ramada again, and i definently not recommend Ramada to any of my friends, for if i recall was the main reason they said they were doing this promotion in the first place was to promote their wonderful resort!
