Thanks for this site! Very helpful. Just got a second call from this company. "Do you recall requesting holidays on Bahamas?" First time I was just dumfounded, told the caller that definately not and he became very angry! Blamed me about first asking to call and then forgetting it! That's when I started to doubt if the guy was a real travel agent. He spelled my name, e-mail address and home town and wanted to know if they are correct and claimed that he has got mail from my e-mail address. I denied. He let me understand that I'm a liar or demented or just enjoy wasting his time.
He didn't offer me anything at all but hanged up on me. A week I've been thinking possible solutions like who of my friends would think this sort of call is a good joke. Today again, another man called. Now I was already alerted and asked him to repeat his name and which company he represents. And told him again that I have not contacted any US travel agencies.
When he didn't get my interest, he said ironically that OK we'll give the xxx (forget how much) dollar price to somebody else. I said fine, he "wonderful!" and hanged up.
