My daughter who is 18 yo & has traveled very little was suppose to fly to see us for Christmas. She took a United flight out of Memphis Tn which was delayed which made her miss her connection in Houston, Tx. My daughter did not have a phone & had very little money because we thought she would be here a little past lunch. My husband received a call from an automated machine that she would not get a connection until the next day. My husband had to take off work to go pick her up. When he got there they had found her a flight for later the same day. We are very disappointed in the service we have received from United. My husband called to speak with them & got no resolution of the problem. Who would want to leave their 18 year daughter alone in a airline terminal for the night with very little money. Needless to say United has started our holidays off with a less than jolly attitude.
