I called applied bank 05/29/08 to settle my outstanding balance. I was told to call back next day in which I would get an up-to-date figure. I spoke to Talia. She gave me the figure to settle the account. I was told the payment need to be posted to the account by 06/18 inorder for AppliedBank to except the settlement. She stated once the payment is posted a letter of settlement would be sent to me.

I mailed an Official Bank and the settlement was post on 06/18.

I waited couple of weeks. I called to verify the account was cleared. I was advisied by Jackie on 6/21 my account balance is $390, granted, this information was completed different then what I agree to.

I then spoke to a manager by the name od Joanne. She stated the rep would never settle an account below 50%. She then stated AppliedBank can not honor the settlement.

Bottomline
AppliedBank is dishonest company. They employed reps to site what ever it take for you to send in large payment, then, retract on oral agreement to customers. Very dishonest company in America. This is not a true American company!
