Tickets Got Me Stranded in Daka

I bought an international ticket through orbitz in April. Orbitz had me transiting through Dakar before returning to the USA. Upon arriving in Dakar, my connecting delta flight did not allow me to board. I was told that the orbitz agent booked my flight without regard to the required minimum time to transit. I got stranded in Dakar for one day. I ended up buying another ticket for $1237.00 on South African Airline to get back home. Since my return to the US, I have been back and forth with Orbitz and Delta. The Agent in Dakar told me the reservation system will not allow any such bookings without first warning the agent about the minimum time to transit violation. Orbitz therefore sold me a ticket that did not comply with air travel policies. I need a refund for this blunder that orbitz caused. Even though both the delta and orbitz customer service acknowledges this problem with ticet, so far they are not listening. They just put me on hold for hours and hours. Please beware of these deceiving bookings in orbitz..
