There is a place and a duped market for old, broken-down and out-of-season timeshares... Vacation Village Voyages has found a way to lie and distort their presentations to hopeful and trusting travelers. The company charges over $6,000 for membership, plus $189 annual dues for the "privilege" of selecting two "resorts" annually at an ADDITIONAL $299 each. For this "astounding" fee of $299 one must wait to book 30 days before... By which time there is nothing left but the very dregs or a beach in Maine in Dec. Or the like. Don't even dream of going to a decent place in season... This is a win/win for failed resorts or those undesirable out of season and VVV who have made a nice profit based upon deception. I was completely misled; and not having a computer at the time of purchase was unaware of the choice and quality of their offerings. Now I am hesitant to vacation elsewhere having tied up so much money with VVV, but when I check Trip Advisor for their property reviews, I am too dispirited to go anywhere.
Help is there any way out of this scam?
