Terrible Service

Qwest Wireless I have been a Qwest customer for several years (5-7). I have had nothing but problems and issues with their product. And service. Most recently, I hadn't received a bill in 6 months (They acknowledged it was even their fault) and suddenly they send me a $489 phone bill. I called immediately. They said they would look into it and get back to me. 2 weeks has since passed and I still had not received a return call from them. Qwest just now suspended my phone service. I cannot make or receive any calls. I called a number on my phone and it directs me to their billing department. Qwest billing department told me somehow I "Fell out" of their billing cycle. Meaning they weren't sending me a bill and they acknowledged that. They then informed me I needed to pay the full $489 before they would turn it back on. I was outraged! How can this be THEIR fault for my information "falling out" of their system, and IM expected to pay it all at once or I don't get my phone back? They offered me a credit of $175 but STILL said they wont turn on my phone until I pay them ALL $489 (So it wasn’t even $175 off of that amount) I have cancelled my service and paid a $200 fee ON TOP of $489 JUST to be done with Qwest. It is worth the headache to be done with Qwest. If you have any personal need for a cell phone or any business needs for a cell phone I STRONGLY URGE you to look elsewhere. I used Qwest initially as they are who I had my land phone line through. Big mistake. That convenience definitely COST me a lot! But the was money well paid as I cannot wait to share these "experiences" with my QUEST services with others looking for a cell phone. Quest spirit of WHAT?!?! Certainly received NO service here. Their slogan doesn’t represent them.

Why am I expected to be financially crippled because Qwest FORGOT to send me a bill? If I "forgot" to send in my payment they would charge me finance charges and late fee's. Why is their no recipricocity amongst business relations with cell phone providers? I have not moved. Nothing within my account has changed. Why is this MY fault? It is not. This information will hopefully spread like wildfire, as I will be sending this to EVERYONE I KNOW.
