I purchased my child a partner at t-mobile in 7-08 for $350.00. I registered for phone insurance in the same period, but was not provided a written plan. The telephone was dropped on November 24. I advised TMobile of losing plus they moved my phone for their insurance company, Asurion. I told the broker at Asurion that my child had the telephone in her backpack at college and also the battery had died. Subsequently, my child changed the sim-card to a different telephone till she might cost her partner when she arrived home. That same-day the partner was dropped. Asurion explained they'd not substitute the telephone since "my insurance plan was about the sim-card, not the partner." The sim-card was briefly in another telephone. I informed Asurion I'd not purchase insurance on the sim-card since sim-cards charge $15.00 to replace, nevertheless, partneris cost $350.00 to replace. At that time I registered for insurance, TMobileis representative explained I had been purchasing insurance to safeguard the telephone. I've simply submitted a using the FCC and certainly will mix my fingertips to determine when the partner is actually changed. Exactly what a rip-off!!!
