30-year 'expert' of AT&T/SBC/Illinois Bell as client. Was on calling arrange for nearby, longdistance, grandfathered, included AT&T Web (via SBCGlobal before purchase) Modem difficulties, visited use Dial-Up to solve dilemmas, dial-up quantity was handed by AT&T Repetition to utilize. Got notice of non compliance with endless domestic strategy whilst the Dial-Up figures were over 8 miles from my house.informed AT&T that their repetition offered me the telephone numbers... Was then told they cannot set me back about the 'bundle' because it isn't longer available. Visited another unlimited package. More income. July 9th Storms got out my modem again... Named AT&T Cust support, they offered me NEARBY dial-up quantity for connecting/check my modem... That number wouldn't 'go thru'. Because of storms apparently... Acquired via the collection extra dial-up quantity and applied it for 7 minutes. To check the modem/point with at&t and 2wire.com. Modem toasted therefore 3rd one Bought thru AT&T. AT&T Internet Providers DID credit alternative cost. Nevertheless when I employed a dial-up quantity which was working but dropped under "nearby long-distance" as over 8 miles in the house. (again, I wasn't ready to obtain THRU about the NEARBY dial-up quantity). They sent me a second Offense Notice... Received on June 13th. That effective June 9th. All long-distance calls were charged in a regular price of $. 25 - $. 35 each minute. Whenever a new strategy could be set up, payment could be set at $. 10/each minute.

I called AT&T Long-Distance on July 13th as soon as I acquired the notice of offense and was informed "too poor"... Possibly I subscribe to another long-distance plan which was much more costly or 'cope with it'.

The one that survived ON-HOLD with 2 interuptions to 'suspend inside" was 1-hour 28 minutes. Correctly closing 20 minutes following the Michelyn I caused had 'gone home". I really donot work... I'm living off my savings when I need to provide respite/hospital care towards the guy who's coping with me. HE employs the long-distance to keep in touch with his household in a long way away claims. North Dakota, California, Florida... Plus one ex-trucker friend that keeps him organization thru this today 2 1/2 year struggle with metastatic cancer and chemo. It is his lifline actually. I can not spend the $400 telephone bill. Tough enough to pay for the large prior bill. Need some RESOLVE below...

Same problems here with guarantees to "call-back"... Just GOT a call back. And was told the individual that requires to examine "your condition" is not in until Friday and Friday we are busy. So perhaps Wednesday... Within the mean time. Do not make any long-distance calls when I cannot say if we are able to assist you to using the (today) $. 35 / each minute price... The $400 bill may stay outstanding when I WAS fool enough to "go right ahead and spend THE FOLLOWING bill and THINK it after I was informed "all is likely to be acknowledged about the SUBSEQUENT bill..."
