I ordered a couple pieces of equipment from Wilder Fitness and dealt with a guy named Jimmy Wilder who I assume owns this company. I sent them a check for payment which was a huge mistake. Finally after a laundry list of excuses the equipment arrived 7 months later, 7 months for 3 pieces of gym equipment.
When I unpacked the equipment the first thing I noticed was how bad the equipment looked. I think I could have welded this equipment in my garage and done a better job. As soon as I started using the equipment is started breaking. I ordered their linear leg press modell PL-013 and a smith machine model PL-022. Both machines were terrible and not smooth operating at all.in about a weeks time the rods that the bearings ride up and down on had huge grooves in them from the bearings and started grinding.
I called Jimmy Wilder about 10 times and he never would return my call. Finally I hired a lawyer and Jimmy Wilder returned the call. He said the bearings just needed oil and told me to quit bothering him. Bothering him? I spent thousands of dollars for 3 machines and two of them didn't work.
After a year Wilder Fitness sent me new shafts but they would not fit the machines. I gave up and ordered equipment from another manufacturer and my lawyer is taking Wilder Fitness to court to try to get my money back.
