After the two years since the DWI case I paid Doug Wilder to represent me for, I have had a lot of time to think about the results. I in all honesty, I do not believe he represented me in the manor he was so acclaim for in your magazine as Rising Star Super Lawyer and for being proficient at; handling DWI cases in Texas. I selected him because he claimed to be the best, his claims to be published in a popular Texas Magazine. I always trusted what I read in that magazine, and have been a big fan of it, but now question if he had just paid the magazine for the article written on his behalf.
First off, it was like twisting his arm to arrange for any discussion as to how he would be representing me. Secondly, even when we did, I dont believe he even listened, or cared to what I had to say, especially since he did not care to even write any notes. When we agreed on a time to meet at the court house to discuss the trial, my family and I were there.
