I was working a seasonal position with this company. At the end of my tenure I was told to document my hours starting a month prior. I submitted those hours and I was then told to break down each function into a time element. This was nearly impossible because not only was I told to do this a month after the fact, but there were multiple functions and projects every day. I was the only one asked to do this. Nobody else was asked to do this or had done this before. It was and is their way of holding back paying me what is due. I have contacted their owner, manager and payroll with no response. I cannot get an answer as to why they are holding back pay - for what? My only resource is civil action.
Regarding the 'nice' rebuttal before this; where have you gotten your information? Half of the slips normally rented have moved elsewhere, even at higher slip rental costs. Any thoughts as to why they moved somewhere else? Existing slip-renters have said this would have probably not happened with the previous original management of the marina.
