When Ike hit Houston on 9/13 we had our pontoon boat in slip #14. After the hurricane we went down to see if there had been any damage and found there had been significant damage to the marina itself but none to our boat.
We have been trying to fine out when the insurance is going to assess the damages and allow us to get our boat out. It is currently blocked in between the bulkhead and the slip due to movement during the winds. We continue to get the same story about the insurance not having done anything. Now the marina is up for sale and we can't get any answers at all now as to an estimated time.
We would like to see if you might be able to investigate this marina and find out the status of the insurance and what is happening to the boats that are stuck there and unable to move.
