I want you to know that you are responsbile for the worst time we've had in recent memory. It was without a doubt a terrifying and traumatic experience. The 'operator', Dick Hess, after demonstrating how a landing should be, proceded to propel the balloon to the ground at a very high rate of speed smashing us into the ground! The balloon then bounced and dragged for another 120 yards. We were left with injuries and trauma which will be felt for some time to come.
We spent $650 for an enjoyable experience but instead received bruises, lacerations and psychological trauma, not to mention 'certificates' that we're expected to fill in ourselves!
We never even received a simple apology from the 'operator'!
Although a release was signed, we can't imagine this is how a balloon ride comes to an end. There is no way this is the standard landing procedure.
We ask that nobody use this company as there are a number of other highly competent individuals running Balloon rides which are safe.
