In the spring of I planned to take my girlfriend up in a balloon and propose marriage. I contacted Chuck and let him know what I wanted to do and he agreed on a date and I paid him a deposit.
That date came and went, as did many others. He always had an excuse. Eight times in total, he cancelled on me. I agree that weather was a factor two times, but the other 6 were ridiculous excuses.
I ended up proposing to my girlfriend another way. We have been married for over a year now, and we still have not received the balloon ride, nor the $500 that I paid him.
I reported him to the Better Business Bureau. I found out that he has many complaints against him for the same thing.
He is a con artist and a scammer. Do not do business with him, and do not trust him with your money.
