Is there anyone out there that has a good expierence with Bally's? If there is, I would sure like to hear from them. It amazes me the amount of people this establishment has ripped off, including myself.
I was lied to upon joining (since their sales are commisioned). Bally management and staff are incopetant. I was put off and forgotten about daily for 6 months, and all I wanted to know was why I had been over charged on a monthly fee. I am in the Navy and went overseas for 6 months, and Bally said that they do not consider this a move, so I could not get out of my contract.
Then I actually moved to a city where there was no Bally and I sent in my 50.00 cancelation fee. On the letter I wrote attention cancelation. This was 6 months ago and I am still being charged. I was told it was because I did not provide proof of residency.
Sure the fifty dollars was cashed, but could they send me a letter that they needed proof of my residency. No, cause that would be too nice and they would lose money. Or, will they now take my apt. Lease as proof? Of course not. Take some very good advice, do not join a Bally Total Fitness. And if you are already a memeber go work out, and when you see a tour go through, tell em what ya think of the Gym. It sucks!!!
