I signed up for bally's in 2/01 and wrote a cancelation letter on 3/30/01 because I made an unexpected decision to move to Florida. I wrot e the letter of cancellation, per the terms of their contract which states "if you move and a Bally's is not within 5 miles of your address, then a written letter of cancellation is required with 30 day notice and the contract will be canceled without penalty".
I followed their insructions, moved 1200 miles away to Connecticut, and live 30 miles away from a Bally's, however, they are still reporting me, and have sold my contract, refinanced, and continue to report. I hate them! I have to find a way to make them stop!
