I have had a horrible experience with Pro Results personal training services at the Westwood branch of L.A. Fitness. Even though the manager who did my intake listened to all of my fitness goals, which I was also required to write down, she proceeded to ignore them and did not share them with any of the "personal" trainers I got shuffled off to during my sessions. The trainers had no knowledge of my personal goals and continued to work me out in a rote fashion designed for someone who wants to lose a lot of weight.
After re-telling all of my personal goals to one of the trainers I was placed with, I was then told that he no longer worked in the mornings and I'd be shuffled off to yet a THIRD trainer (not very "personal").
I wanted to develop a long term fitness regimine that I could continue to do on my own, but the Pro Results method has been to strap me to a long-term contract, ignore my personal fitness goals and not communicate them to any of the trainers, not return my phone calls seeking to schedule sessions, lose a training session I did schedule, schedule me for another session without my knowledge, shuffle me between whichever trainer happened to be available so that the services were not "personal, " not return my multiple phone calls seeking to cancel the services,
And finally: refuse to cancel my training sessions without charging me for 3 more months worth (almost $600) of services I will not be using. That's $600 of nothing. Turns out the window to cancel your contract without paying this huge fee is to cancel within 5 days - which does not give anyone adequate time to evaluate their services and make an informed decision.
There has been nothing "personal" about my training sessions or with the red tape I am now going through with corporate in trying to cancel them. This company does not care about people, their time, their money or most importantly, their personal fitness goals. Don't let them swindle you too.
