World Wide Aquatics used the same, identical tactics on me as reported by others (to-date) on this site: usacomplaints.com. The company used all sorts of odd delay tactics to explain why I did not receive my merchandise ordered in October and November (about $130). Mainly blamed me for not insuring the package (NOTE: users do NOT have an option to do that for ground, regular shipping anyway!).
Anyway, the same ol' story goes for me too — the company had to "track" the package, or on other calls they said I'd get a credit that day (didn't happen). It took 9 months for me to finally receive a Visa credit, but I did not get credit for shipping.
I should have let Visa take care of the matter from the get-go, but I kept thinking on how odd the whole incident sounded! Plus, WWA really really made me mad - not only did they hassle me and take my money, the customer service people (if you can call them that) were the rudest, most unintelligent lot I've ever dealt with. It echoes other comments that WWA is really no longer a legitimate business and MUST be up to no good — like running a scam on the internet buyer.
It's unfortunate that places like this are allowed to continue to operate. Please, Tampa, shut them down!
