This company pressures you to join like a used car sales company and will do anything to get you to join but once you join you're stuck.
When I first did a "complementary" session I really liked this trainer and after I signed I found out she wasn't a trainer but a manager and couldn't train me. Then I went through about 4 trainers until I had one trainer who tried calling me Friday night to ask me out and when I said no he called me five minutes later asking for another girl. I do not know what that was all about but it made me really nervous. The few trainers I liked were either transferred or could not work with my schedule.
Then I transfered to this LA Fitness and about 6 hours before our first session he called and cancelled but offered me a free session to compensate for the inconvenience. Then when I met him for our first session he didn't show up and the other employees told me I wasn't in the computer at all. I never heard back from him until I walked in a couple days later to ask them about it and it was him. Then we had one session and after that he cancelled on me again ten minutes before the session was suppose to start.
For another session I cancelled 33 hours ahead and the employee even confirmed w / me that I had made the 24 hour cancellation deadline. When I showed up for our next session he asked me where I was for the last one and I told him I had cancelled and he told me not to talk to the employees there because they were incompetent but gave me his cell phone number and call him directly. Because he never used the computers there is no evidence of my appointments. I called him on his cell phone to schedule and he told me tonight at 7:30. Alas I showed up and he told me it was at 7 and even showed me how he put it in his calender (wow). He was extemely rude and refused to find a solution.
Under his original logic of giving me a free session for the trouble I should have 2 more but all I want is to get out of this contract. This is by far the biggest ripoff I have ever been involved in. I am interested in joining any lawsuit against this fraudulent company.
