Purchased a $150 iron that the salesperson said was a lifetime product.
Yeah, if you live less than 2 years. The teflon on the sole plate is peeling & I was told it would cost $50 for a new one. That's the cost of most decent irons!
The company was completely unresponsive and kept quoting the 1 year warranty. However, at this price (at least double the competition) one would expect much more. Bottom line here is that you DON'T get what you pay for with Rowenta.
You overpay for a product no better than one at half the price.
At this rate, 10 yesrs with this "lifetime" iron would cost $650! What a ripoff!!!
