My son called this company for a move job. They were scheduled to report between 12-2P.M. On a Sunday. After several calls from us to the company they finally showed up at 5:00 P.M. Then would only move about 1/4 of the items needing to be moved.
When the move was scheduled, the hourly rate of $60.00 was requested. The woman on the phone stated that it would be better to do a flat rate, and asked for a general idea of the items being moved. She was told at least 40 boxes, a living room, bedroom, dining room, and misc toys and furniture.
When the two men arrived they refused to move anything that was not listed. All she had put on the invoice was a sofa, loveseat, washer, dryer, table with 6 chairs, and 40 boxes as well as toys.
They moved 40 boxes only, 2 toys, and 5 household items for a total of $186.00 in 90 minutes. When they were asked to call their supervisor they refused.
We have tried to contact this company the very next day regarding our disappointment and to work out a solution or get the rest of the items moved, but they will not respond to our request for a return call.
This place is a ripoff.
