I, gazell, hired all points moving (see information about company below) to move me on 9/30. I spoke with mr. Curtis who in the beginning, identified himself as one of the managers and on 10/3 identified himself as the owner. The original the price he quoted $70.00 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours. On the morning of september the day of the move i received a called from an employee of all-points moving, recommending that i pay an additional $35.00 per hour to add a third man to the moving team. The caller suggested that we add a third mover in order to make the move more expeditious. I agreed to add the third mover at the additional cost. Upon arrival at 10:00 A.M., i signed the forms. Expecting that the move would begin promptly after, i asked that they start by moving the larger items first and then the boxes, but no one began moving. One mover continued to fill out forms, one mover sat down on my loveseat, and the other answered a cellular phone call. It took approximately 10 minutes for the movers to begin working. Once they began moving, it was a very slow process on their part. They continuously talked on their cell phones, requested drinks, used the bathroom, and stood around watching each other. After 2 hours of moving, they had moved 18 items. They left the pillows from my sofas in my living room i had to ask that they come back and get them. They just throw them on the truck. They throw a blanket over one sofa. They dropped the desk from the master bedroom in the hallway. Once, they finished moving the 18 itesm, i requested that they move the additional items and i would pay for additional hours. They refused, one mover stated that because of the way they packed the truck they wouldnt be able to move anything else. Upon arrival at our destination (after they stopped for lunch) they unpacked the furniture. The following damages were incurred: 1. One broken desk (legged broken off), stains on the front my sofa, one nightstand corner chipped, one dresser corner chipped, and one bed framed chipped. After 5 hours of moving and several damaged pieces of furniture, i was asked to fill out a survey. Once i filled it out and gave the movers a negative score, i was approached by one of the movers questioning my survey. As they were leaving one of the drivers through trash all over my driveway and yard. I had to hire additional movers to move the bulk of my items.
