We recently were moved by this company due to a military transfer. This was the first move I had ever done with movers and had heard horror stories, but just didn't believe that so called professionals would be so bad. Well first I was told that I couldn't pre pack anything because movers would do it all for us. OK that is what they are being paid for. I called them 3 days before our scheduled pack day because they had not come out to do an estimate of what we had as far as weight. When the guy showed up, he hadn't even gone into the house when he instantly quoted our weight 3000 lbs over. When we told him how much we were allowed, he then quoted 3000lbs over that. Then they stated it would be a three day job. They arrived and worked the total of 3 hours on our garage, dumping trash into boxes and other stuff we told them not to pack. My husband and I worked so hard that day making sure that they didn't pack stuff we didn't want. The next day they arrived I lost all control over what they packed, broke and mislabeled. They were all rude, being verbally abusive towards everything and only worked about 6 hours that day. After they left I went through the boxes they packed and found tons of candy wrappers and trash that I had sat aside for them not to pack, indeed packed. There were used Kleenexes all throughout the house. But the third day was the worst; they broke a china plate and a snow globe. They left them on the floor without telling us about it, even though we have a 20 month old running through the house. They didn't pack any of our hardware for the beds, the changing table, or our babies crib. They threw our 3month old sons bassinet mattress in a trash can that they packed. They were careless, and very destructive, even stealing change right in front of us. While taking our new washer and dryer, they tore the flooring. They broke our screen door and broke the wheel off of our refrigerator. Both our desks were broken beyond repair and had snot wiped on them, our new dining room table and chairs were scratched while they were taking them apart. Upon arrival of the driver that was going to load our household goods, we were given a total weight we were allowed, and ironically we ended up exactly 3000lbs over that. I have been unpacking for a week now and I am still finding broken items, such as dishes, lawn statues, and just about everything. Our new washer and dryer are now making rattling noises, we open boxes labeled clothes to find toys, open boxes labeled toys to find tools, and nothing is properly labeled. I have moved several times in my lifetime, the best I can suggest, are move yourself. The horror stories are real, there is no real background check on these people and if you value your belongings move yourself.
