My daughter just received a Bill for $513.99 from t-mobile. Her family just went through hurricane IVAN and had nothing. No home phone, on power, no food, etc. She used the t-mobile phone during this time and knew it would go over the limit, but by the above amount was more then she ever would have dreamed.
She called to see if there was and help they could provide and told her if she would have called during the time of the storm and after mat they would have given her a few bonus minutes or changed her to a different plan. Well I do not think that was at the top of her list.
I called they told me that there is nothing that can be done and told me to right a letter to the New Mexico office. I told them that others where trying to help due to the emergency, but they did not care.
Many charges where due to a connection then drop, because of the poor service to to the storm and tower problems. They would not even look into it. All I get from them is the bill is valid.
Any help would be appreciated.
