I was w / T-mobile for 2.5 years. The service was terrible, but they promised to have more towers installed in the area where I was having trouble. [it still hasn't happened] During my 2nd yr. I knew that I no longer wanted to do business w / T-Mobile.
I called EVERY month to see when my contract was over, & every mo. They told me 8/05.in 6/05 a rep. Called me on my cell & asked if I wanted to update my plan. I told them no because I don't plan on staying w / the company. They told me that I would NOT be in a new contract, & I could stay on month to month service. I was going over my plan minutes every month, so, I said fine.
All I was thinking is that this will buy me time to find a new provider. Well, in 10/05 I chose a new carrier. I called T-, & told them I would no longer need their services. I didn't get a bill for a while, but I knew that I owed them, so I sent them $50 in Oct. & $50 in Nov.in Dec.
I received a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed $440! There was no way in Hades that I owed that much. Needless to say, the idiots @ the agency were worse than T-mobile. I asked SEVERAL times for a bill. The agency would tell me to call T-mobile, & T-mobile would tell me to call the agency.
FINALLY, the agency broke down what I owed. They added a $200 CANCELLED CONTRACT FEE! I was furious! We've been going through this since Dec., & neither the agency nor T-mobile will send me a bill! If I could get some help, I'd really appreciate it!
