The pharmacy staff was rude and condescending. When I asked to receive a flu shot the clerk said: "just a minute"... She came back asked for my insurance card (Blue Cross/Shield) and stood punching numbers into the computer for 15 minutes. She looked at the computer, checked a stapled piece of paper with hand written numbers on it for the insurance numbers, asked for my drivers license, and took my insurance card to another clerk who was too busy to help. She had to ask two other pharmacy clerks for help. The clerk came back and said: "this card wont work". The primary pharmacist yelled from her station: "Hey! I'll help you with that flu shot insurance thing in a minute" (real professional!) I left after a 45 minute wait without a shot. 20 minutes later I was at Walgreens, received the flu shot from a very helpful pharamcy group using the insurance card that would not work at CVS. Walgreens is by far a more professional, helpful and caring group of people who at least act like they are interested in assisting their customers. I will not recommend CVS to friends or family.
