After several years of good service (TTI was recommended by Consumer Reports), TTI began to charge a monthly fee for long distance service, regardless if you did not dial a long distance call that particular month. I called to cancel the service in early (April) only to find out they did not cancel my service. I called again to cancel the service, and in May they agreed to cancel my account and credit my account for the monthly fees (no long distance used!). Here is is November and they still have not credited my account. This company appears to have some problems, and being purchased by Verizon does not appear to have helped. I called again today (November 5) and requested a credit for the entire amount (late fees, etc.), and to correct my credit report (the a$holes reported be late for $0.13/month!). If you see TTI National or Verizon long distance offering you a 'deal', RUN! At least ATT will rip you off properly, or use VoIP phone service.
