Keeping money for a unopened product that was returned 5 days late because I was outside the country

I was out of the country and unable to return an unopened pkg.in any event I was only 5 days late because of holiday in which the post office was closed. The item was returned and I later received a letter saying that they would not return my money. I spent close to an hour on the phone and they they put me thru to supervisors that are trained to listen while knowing that they are not going to return your money. This is highway robbery in my opinion and a waste of time. I ended the call by telling them that I will have my Visa deal with them and my money returned. Talk about a hard up excuse to keep someones money!
