I recently had my highlights put in at Fantastic Sams in Dallas, Tx off of Preston and Forest Rd. The women doing my hair worked on my hair for about an hour with highlights and a day later, my hair was gold. I came back in kindly and asked them to redo the highlights. At this time, the other hair stylist said that it was done so poorly that re-bleaching it again would damage my hair even more. For the first time in my life, I had actually achieved split ends from that treatment. I was told to contact the store owner, who in fact is never at the store. He called me back the first time and asked me to come in and fix it and also receive a full refund. What he failed to realize is that I had already gone back in and they told me I could do nothing to my hair until the beginning of January due to the damage.

The store owner called me back the next day promising a refund, as his staff had also told me during that week, that they were aware of the situation and a refund would be issued. I left him several messages, phone calls, even texts messages and nothing for weeks. Finally, 2 weeks late, instead of being a professional store owner, he texted me that he would have to fix my hair first before a refund could be done. I replied that it was already fixed the next day by your salon as best as possible, and that his own morning stylist crew said it was done poorly and could not be fixed this early without additional damage to hair follicle.

I have been going to other Fantastics Sams for years now, but this by far was the worst. Besides one excellent stylist there, the rest have little or no experience in hair coloring yet are still allowed to perform it. I was cheated out of my money, my hair was damaged and the store owner was unwilling to keep his promise. His own stylist were shocked by the work done and encouraged me to call him regarding a refund. But he continued to ignore my phone calls and requests for customer satisfaction as promised. This is not about the money, this is about my beautiful hair I cherish and the values customers should feel comfortable about when receiving service. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow back. Its interesting that there is a store manager there, but she is not allowed to issue refund. It must be done by the owner who is never there. Whats the use of a store manager.

Be sure to never go to the Fantastic Sams in Dallas Texas off Preston Road and Forest Lane. I have been a very loyal customer to this franchise, but no longer. I have google complaints from this store, it seems to be the same issues. I wish I had done it beforehand.
