I just recently noticed that my SBC phone bill had a charge of 14.31 for USA Voicemail Premium Services. After extensive research and calling numerous numbers, I finally located this company and spoke with a customer service representative. The representative told me that I signed up for this service while I was completing an Internet survey.
This is TOTALLY FALSE. At no time did I ever authorize or sign up for any voice mail service online. I have a cell phone with voice mail and would have NO NEED for "premium" voice mail services.
WATCH OUT when you are online!!! This company obviously got my phone number and billing information from a website I visited and started billing me without my authorization for a service I never used nor needed. I am filing complaints with the FTC and Clearwater Police Department in Clearwater, Fl.
