David Ledger agreed to install our pool for $4400 labor. He required $2200 up front, which we paid. After that point it was impossible to reach him. He only came out to our house one time. That was for about 2 hours & all he did was supervise.
Several times we contacted him & asked him when he was coming out & every time his reply was a lie. He never showed up when he said he would.
We eventually started doing the work on our own. After completing 85% of the pool, we asked him to finish the pool & told him that he could keep the $2200 if he would just finish the job. He had actually picked up $650 in vermiculite, so we told him that after completing a day of work we'd give him $300 & after completing another day of work we'd give him $350. He never showed up.
After that he threatened to come steal the vermiculite & was told that he was no longer welcome on our property. We requested a refund of the $2200 less $650, totalling $1550. He refused. To date he has done no work on our pool. We've had to hire other professionals to complete the job & he has not refunded the money that he did nothing to earn.
