I was hired to be a cook at this sonic drive in and was instantly a carhop instead, I have some experience in this position, but was beginnning training for some of the other positions first day was like orientation 2nd day entailed being there 9am -4pm which I was allowed a 10 min break, to return later that evening at 6pm -10 pm shift as a carhop starting to learn pos board of all products the company offers, one of the managers made comment about having to learn other positions before carhop, 3 day starts out at 6am and I am informally asked to cook bacon prep and sausage, at 7am another manager returns to boost me to fountain area with very little training of this position, worked up to 2pm without any breaks.
2pm I got permission to take a break and took my first 30 minute break out of the 3 days or 27 hours of work, to return to a happy hour in progress and be placed in drive thru window without any training, like here take over drive thru and tough luck if you fail no training allowed - the manager that stated start me in the other positions before car hop. Jus test the water and see if I can swim in busiest shift of the day and cars all around the restaurant or drowned in faiulure, repeatedly asking what else needs to be stocked in the drive thru that my eyes might have missed-
No clues how or what is properly stocked according to afternoon manager who told me if I could not figure it out I should clock out and not come back to work, company policy is ignored and regulations are personally instilled that work according to management at this store. Each manager at this store has their own policy of how the crew is performing. Turn over at this store is weekly self terminating actions because management will not operate according to company corporate policies!!!
