Centurylink has been embezzling money from their customers for decades. Over 12 years as a customer of Centurytel/centurylink, I had to call them 2 or 3 time to ask them to correct a billing error. As a major corporation, they manage to run everything smoothly except for billing corrections, which favored the company. This is not a neglect of billing by the billing department. This a an on going excuse to cover up the intentional embezzlement practice by Centurytel.
Many customers do not know a bill error has occurred or assume the correction was made in their initial phone call to correct the problem, yet the problem continues to exist, and thus Centurylink pockets the money the customer as failed to resolve by persistent calling.
Centurylink could correct this 10 to 20-year-old problem, but it works to line their pockets year after year. It is not a problem; it is by design. It is embezzlement!
