I just noticed on my credit card statement that I've been charged for a credit monitoring service for the last 5 months. They claim I signed up for it in April. I do remember TRYING to sign up for a free credit report, but it never went through. I never got a confirmation, I never received a free credit report (or any other kind) and I don't even have a username or password for their webpage to log in.
I don't understand how they were able to charge me $8.95 a month for the last 5 months without my consent. When I contacted them about it, I was given a fax number to fax my complaint to, and of course, I have not received any kind of reponse. I am disputing my charges with my credit card company and have to cancel the card to stop them from continuing to steal from me.
