Nightmare experience.
After receiving numerous quotes, I decided to go with Certified Relocations, which after the move due to research discovered operates under Travel Van Lines. They gave me a great price, under the lie that they make their own deliveries and would be in my area the date I requested.
On move day, the guys showed up an hour late in a Budget rental truck. I was promised they would bring a truck with their logo on it. The men started to work, and about half way through the move the foreman told me I would take up more than twice the amount of cubic feet than estimated. Meanwhile, I had exactly what was on my list MINUS A FEW BOXES.
I called the office to reach the salesman Pat, who booked my move. No answer, conveniently. As I kept calling the various extensions, I got a woman Corinne on the phone who was extremely rude about the situation.
Having a flight to catch that night, I had no o ptions except to pay the price of $9200, after being quoted $3250. I chalked it up as a bad decision on movers until I wated exactly 17 days for delivery, when I was promised 7 to 10 days.
Come delivery, I asked the driver if he worked for Certified Relocations and he said no. After numerous calls to the office I could not get a human on the phone.
I would certainly not recommend these thieves to anyone. Im just glad it is over.
