Certified Relocations is the biggest ripoff moving company ever! Please if you are reading this, you are doing your research. Stay away from this company or any name associated with them aka: travel van lines.

I put my information on the 123movers website. Certified Relocations was the lowest bidding company that contacted me. John was the salesman, never told a last name but best known as the salesman. And he fit the description very well as salesmen are very well known to promise you the world and deliver you nothing but lies! John quoted us $945.00 for our move.

Our story is pretty much the same as the person moving from CT to Florida. My husband and I were moving from Massachusetts to Florida. Little did we know that as soon as John the salesman had our deposit, that would be the last we would hear from him. I did contact John by email to let him know the final destination address once we confirmed our new home address. I told John at that time that I wanted the move to happen on June 4th which was a Monday. He said that would be fine they would come between 10 and 11 am. The drivers would contact us beforehand. I also asked John if our household goods would be delivered before my husband started work on June 11th. He told me yes, and not to worry they will take care of us. Well here it is June 14th and we have not received our household goods nor did we even hear from the driver as we were told we would.

This has all been such a nightmare!

June 4... We have everything packed and waiting for the movers to arrive. The time was 9:45am. Nobody had even tried to call and confirm this move. I decided I would call John to confirm that the drivers were on their way. John told me that the truck broke down but then he said he was looking at his calendar and saw that he had us scheduled for Wednesday June 6th. I was furious! He said hold on, I am going to make some calls and I will call you back. About 11:30 John called me back and said the truck is broken down on the road and they are waiting for roadside assistance so they will not be at your house until 2:30pm or 3:00pm. I told John at that time that we had more than 20 boxes as he quoted us for that it was about 10 more than that. I said maybe he can take care of the rest of the boxes without charge due to this mess up of his. He said I have your back... Don't worry its taken care of. So I am thinking that at this point everything will be fine once they got here. He also told me that the driver will call me a half hour before they get to our house.

My husband and I went to grab some lunch since we had some time with our phones by our side. We went back home and there was a Penske truck sitting outside our home. It was 3:00pm.

We stood in the driveway waiting for them to get out of the truck and car because someone was in a car behind the truck with a female driving. A young heavy set guy approached us with two other guys. The heavy set guy said excuse the way I'm dressed but I am suppose to be on vacation and they called me at the last minute and asked me to do this move. I didn't have any working clothes to put on. My girlfriend is pissed and I am not happy.

Quite frankly, I didn't care about the way he was dressed or the fact that he was on vacation, if he didn't want to do the job, he should have told his boss. We just wanted to move!!! Period!!!

His name was Sean. He came into the house with the other two guys and started looking around. He explained the paperwork like it was memorized in his head, in between his phone calls to his girlfriend. Finally he walked around the house and made a phone call to John. He told John there was more than what he quoted us for. After all his guesstimating... He came back and said that our final price would be $2400.00!!! I looked at my husband as if to say is he kidding??? What happened to John having our back for the extra boxes and why is the price like tripled??? Why? Because they quote you real low and when they have your deposit... They have you! Hook Line and Sinker!!! What can you do at this point? They were there with your money. He said he would close it out with the final price of $2400.00. We were very upset that they did this. Sean left and the driver Joseph and his helper Gino were busting their butts getting everything wrapped up and packed on the truck.

The packers told us that this is how this company operates. They rip people off all the time. We didn't need anyone to tell us this, we could see this with our eyes.

Right away I called John the salesman and asked him why were triple charged over the quote price??? He played stupid and said What happened? Sean told me you were happy? I said talk to my husband because I am just too upset right now. My husband got on the phone and wanted to know why we were charged so much. John told him that he had to check things out and call him back. That was the last time we had communication with john the salesman... He ignores all our calls, and apparently his son Richard who is also a salesman for the company backs his father up and makes up lies for him also... Oh he is out of town, oh he just got out of the hospital and is all drugged up... And voicemails we left were not returned and emails no replies. Just like scammers all do, they have done. Customer service department? Where is it? Either noone answers the phone, voice mail boxes are full or you get the father, son team. Who is the owner??? Is there a real owner or is the company operating out of a cardboard box under a bridge???

So finally we get to Florida and John told us we would have our furniture before my husband goes to work on June 11th... Wrong answer... Several phone calls later, on Thursday June 8 we end up speaking to Eric who is apparently the Operations Manager in charge of the trucks that deliver the household goods. Eric basically tells us we have no right to be upset and that all the stuff we had took up 677 cubic ft. On the truck. But wait how can he know that when the goods are not even loaded on the truck yet. Our household goods wouldn't even be leaving his warehouse until Tuesday June 12! Eric also told us that they fired Joseph for talking bad stuff about the company. He was the hardest worker and didn't need to lose his job. So much for that promise John... Thank you very much. Eric said we wouldn't be getting our stuff until maybe Thursday June 14. But he did say that the driver will call me 24 hours ahead of time. He said the driver had to stop in Georgia and Florida. Well, here it is Thursday and no household goods, no calls nothing! Again, I call Eric, and did not get him. The phone rang and rang and rang. I call the other number for the office. Richard the son answers. I said I wanted to know when I was getting my furniture. I said I was tired of all this. He said he understood and that they are only the salesmen that they have nothing to do with the trucks... Yeah right, and that his father had just come out of the hospital and was drugged up. I don't care, all I want is my furniture. It seems nobody can answer me when my household items will arrive. So basically, nobody wants to tell us anything, no answers to phone calls, nothing. I am so afraid that when and if my furniture arrives that there is going to be another fight. Missing items, broken items etc.

Or even worse, they would try to charge us more money. I will call the police! I have had it with this company. This is not how you treat customers!!! This is the worse company I ever worked with! They take your money and run! I wish I had seen this site before I contracted with them.

Do not use this company. Stay away!
