On June 18 we hired All My Sons Moving & Storage out of Raleigh to move us. On June 20 I noticed that 2 pieces of jewelry from my jewelry box that they did not move, were missing. Both pieces were in the jewelry box with the remaining jewelry so they were not simply "misplaced" as all other pieces have been accounted for.
I contacted All My Sons immediately and was told to file a police report. I did that. I am missing a diamond tennis bracelet that was given to me by my husband for our first wedding anniversary 12 years ago. I am also missing a diamond and ruby heart necklace that was given to me on my daughters first Valentines Day. The cost of the jewelry when purchased was in excess of $2000. It can not be replaced for that amount today, not to mention the sentimental value.
All My Sons has offered me a settlement of $150 for $2000 worth of jewelry. They need to take responsibility for the employees that they have representing thier company. This settlement is not only unacceptable it is an insult!
