Yesterday i saw a automatic charge on my checking account for 15.99 from stamps.com as a "reoccurring charge". I remembered signing up for the free trial but found that i never did anything with the free trial and i forgot to cancel before the month. I did a search online and found this site with many entries for difficulty to cancel and other issues.

I noticed several people had posted success with using the email [email protected] so i tried it. I sent an email advising that i take responsibility for forgetting to cancel before the month was up, and that i request them to immediately cancel my account with no aditional charges beyond the 15.99 that was just charged. That was last night, this morning i recieved a reply saying that they have waived my current months 15.99 fee (not the fee for the first month)

So i replied back saying that i recognize thier efforts to keep me as a customer but im not interested, and to cancel my account effective today. I received a reply from Nicole, she said she could process the cancelation if i provide my secret word question and my mailing address.

I provided and she replied back it had been canceled. I have recieved several emails indicating it had been canceled.

I wanted to provide this info for those of you that are fighting the long phone line times that are told to call... This email works very well. Please be nice to the people on the other end, it might just make things a little easier for you to get the account canceled.
