Rude Night Manager!!! I am a faithful DG customer. I shop at 2 Dollar Generals on a weekly basis. Both are in Illinois-Gilman and Watseka. I spend anywhere from $30 to $50 a week. I could easily go to the 24 hour Super Walmart-but I like to give the local Dollar General some of my business. I myself work a retail job and have worked with the public most of my adult life: I am 53 years old. Tonight I went in at 8:45 (they close at 9) to grab milk, pop and Tide. I did end up picking up a few more items. Upon entering the store (15 min. Prior to closing) I got a frown from the night manager. At 5 til 9 I was looking at batteries (I had all my shopping done). The night manager came up to me and said very rudely - quot;You need to HURRY UP!!! We close at 9 and u need to get your things to the register!!!" I said - quot;This is my last item-I"ll be right up." At the register she stood there and watched the cashier ring me up. I then left-feeling harassed!!! This was the second time in one month that this has happened to me—by the same old crabby manager!!! If I has treated a customer like that at my place of employment I would of been fired!!!
