Never heard of can't take pictures in Nautica Factory Outlet Store.
Yesterday on 11/3, my friends whom came from China and I visited NFO in Central Valley New York. As we were shopping, we noticed that there were Chinese translation on the sign in the whole store. My friends thought it was very friendly that NFO was being considerate. Right away, she took out her camera and was going to take a picture on the sign and thought to show her friends in China about NFO's hospitality. At this moment, we heard this stern voice, "You are not allow to take pictures in the store." I looked over and saw this Spanish old woman in uniform shown her attitude towards my friend. I then approached her and tried to explain to her that they just saw the Chinese sign and was excited about it. Now, this grumpy woman started to comment in a scornful way, "if you go to next store and if you need to take a picture, you need to always ask the store first if you can take the picture or not."
Excuse me, if your store do not allow people to take a picture, please put a sign on the window, then we will know what to do or not do. I have never encountered such situation. I think the woman needed to stop after the first sentence and didn't need to continue her comment. I guess she just thought that she was the manager of NFO. I complained to one of the manager and hope he will procedd with some warning or dicipling. Service business need to have people with smile and good attitude, not a grumpy and hateful woman who always judge other people.
