I consider this Nationwide Security, to be thieves, the thieves that I was hoping to get protection from.
I had Brinks Security system in my home for nearly 12 years when I got a knock on the door from a Door to Door salesman selling a system from Nationwide. I was definitely impressed by all the new bells and whistles that this company was offering. Brinks was at this time being purchased by ADT. The salesman told me that ADT would increase my fees as they didn't have to honor my contract that I signed with brinks, however he would honor my contract price from Brinks. He also stated that when I moved (in three months) that they would move the new system to my new home. I signed a new contract with this company.
Nothing that the salesman said was truthful. The company provides extremely poor service. The system was disappointing and NEVER worked correctly. They did not want to move the system for free and honor their salesmans word. They would not work to provide solutions or repairs to a failed system. The people who came over to the home were dressed unprofessionally and wouldn't be the type of person that I think would represent a security company.
I probably let this company monitor my home for 3 months of the 3 year contract. I didn't trust them to come to my new home, and I would rather pay the contract with no service then risk putting the thieves into my home.in the end the only thieves I needed to have protected myself from was Nationwide Security Solutions.
Do due diligence prior to signing the contract. ANY thing that a salesman states, reiterate it with the respresentative over the phone, they will record that conversation so that you have proof of the TALES that the salesmen state. Beware, and protect yourself and your family. I'd go with a large company that has the capacity to provide adequate and acceptable services.
