Our July 14 phone bill included a charge of $6.16 for a one-minute directory assistance call to NV. We know that we did not make this call because my wife was waiting for a jury duty summons on the date and time in question. Neither of us ever make directory assistance calls, and we are the only people using this phone.
I called the OAN Services - Telseven phone number and the customer service operator stated that it was probably a problem of crossed-lines and that we would have to call our local carrier.
Anyway, I called SBC and they reversed the charges.
This was out-and-out fraud by OAN Services.
