I contacted red lion moving and storage to move me and my family from ct to houston tx. I was quote a price of 4500.00 the day of the move after the truck was packed and my husband was leaving for his flight the next day he was tolded the price went up another $3820.00 dollars. There was nothing we could do because he was leaving for texas for good the next day.
After several conversations we were told the additional money was an error and not to worry about it.
Time for our delivery in texas - the company kept moving our delivery date up and started asking for the additional funds to be paid in order to deliver the furniture. They never delivered the furniture when they said they would - we contacted the office and the workers were yelling and cursing at us. We spoke to the sales rep randy mendez who told us he spoke to the owners and our furniture would be at our house in 2 days. We call back to find out that he was lying to us, he never spoke to the owners.
Someone who claimed to be the owner called us back and said the furniture would be at our home on friday, never arrived. We call the driver and he says it will be another 3-4 days and the office lied to us.
When the driver arrived he asked for the money ($3820.00) up front before they would unload our furniture.
They are scam artist and rip offs - dont believe anything they tell you
