I hope no one uses this company to move. I was given a quote over the telephone to move to move a few baby furniture from Miami Florida to Bronx New York. I was told that it would take two days to deliver the furniture. I explained to RICK that it is important that this furniture gets there in time for the birth of a baby girl.
The furniture was picked up on a Monday. He assured me everything is going to go as planned and the furniture will arrive in the Bronx on Wednesday. I paid half the deposit and the furniture was loaded up and taken away.
I called on Alayon Moving on Wednesday to ask at what time should this mother to be to expect the furniture. I was told that the furniture has not left to New York. Some technical problems came up. He then assured me that the furniture will leave on thursday and arrive no later than Sunday.
On Sunday I called back Alayon Movers to see if they can give me a time as to when the furniture will be delivered. No one at that company can give me an answere or can contact the driver of the moving truck to find out his location. I was told that if the drivers are asleep they do not want to wake them!
So one week later the baby is born and is ready to go home to a house without a crib and baby furniture and no one at ALAYON MOVERS seems to have a clue on when she will have a crib to sleep in, or really cares if she does.
This is the first and last time i will ever use this company and I will go to their main office with police escort to see for myself if the furniture has left to New York. This is a horrible experience, in a time when the mother and baby are to be going home, the mother has to worry about when the baby's furniture will arrive.
This company does not know a thing about customer service or about anything at all. I would not be surprised if they have treated other paying customers the same way they treated me and if this is the terrible service they provide to customers.
