On 4.10.12 my mother wanted to buy me a pair of converse shoes size womans 10 that were not in stock at journeys at the westminster mall, so the sales "people" ordered a size 8 in mens which is a womans 10.. Now, any good sales person or just anyone that has ever sold converse shoes knows that converse run about a size bigger. It even tells you that on the web site!!! With in 10 min of placing the order i came in to request to change the order for the correct size (which they should have recommended in the first place) and a differnet address, since its hard to receive things at our residence. The mananger told us that nothing can be done and that i had to wait for the wrong size, then bring it in and then reorder it for the correct size. Pretty much blaming my mother that she told her the wrong size!!! I was very angry that they could not do anything about the special order that was placed less than 10 min. No refund or exchange. And on top of that the store manager " vidalia" was extremely rude and unprofessional and showed no compassion. Not even i am sorry about the inconveniece!!! She continued to speak to me like i was an idiot and kept raising her voice and rolling her eyes that the order is already placed and that i will receive the wrong size in the mail! I feel sorry for journeys / genesco for having such a person running their store that has no apperent respect for the consumer. I am certain that, that store must not make a lot of bussiness and i am not surprised why!!! Horriable customer service!!! I will never shop there again and will make sure non of my friends or family shop there! You just wanted to make a sale and did not care enough to make sure that you share your knowledge with a customer that is ordering a gift! Very very rude!!! I hope that i hear from someone in the corporate office!
