I just called PODs to have them ship my PODs container from Texas to Erie, PA. It was shocking to hear the representative state that they do not service this area and cannot send the POD up to me. They suggested that I have them deliver it to their facility in Buffalo, NY (at a cost of $4800) and then I could hire local movers to unload it, load it into the movers truck and move it to my new home (all at an additional, interstate move cost to me.)
Think twice before using PODS. They are overpriced for local storage and the assurance that they can deliver anywhere is simply not true.
