I am having a hard time receiving payment from this person. I have worked quite a bit with them in the past two years, and often had to send a couple of emails in order to get paid for work I did, which I did get paid for in the end. However, this time around, I was contacted about a translation job on September 19th, received the files, was asked to complete the job by the middle of the next week, and he said to ask him any question I may have if I had any doubt regarding vocabulary for the translation, which I did. I sent my questions before the deadline, when I was done with the bulk of the file, on September 28th, so I could complete the file by the deadline, and didn't get any response. I sent the complete (as complete as I could get it anyway!) file on October 3rd, along with the invoice. I also tried to talk to him on Skype on October 24th, but he was seemingly busy, told me to please hold and never got back to me. I keep sending email reminders but I'm still waiting for the payment. On January 6th, I sent him another reminder, and on January 10th, I received a message from him asking why I had posted a complaint on a complaint site, so I told him that it was because it was the truth. I'm tired of his excuses and mind games. I still keep on sending reminders, but I get no response. This is ridiculous. So I will keep posting complaints about him, it doesn't matter if it means I'll never get the money he owes me (I don't have much hope anyway!) but I don't want other people to get ripped off like I did.
