The RSB placed an ad in a translators place. Mr. Virgil Florea, Sales Executive of The RSB claimed that a very poor translator had done a crappy job on their client's website. We agreed I would do the translation for USD$300.00.
When I finished the translation I requested payment but he would not send payment until he saw the work. I submitted my work along with my invoice. That was Feb 8. He said he would submit payment. I got nothing. I sent reminders. I got nothing. I sent more reminders. He finally replied saying that his uncle got hurt in a car accident and taht I would get paid 100% in a day or two. I got nothing.
This website has been translated into other languages and two translators contacted me this morning asking me if I had gotten paid. I sent letters again telling him, the Director, anybody and everybody that I would seek legal action. No response whatsoever.
Also, I can see Mr. Florea goes online (msn instant messager) but he chooses to igrnore my messages. This is simply no way of doing business. Maybe he is used to that, but I certainly am not.
